We would suggest checking to make sure that the kit is not past its shelf life, as well as allowing a rest period of 8 hours in between uses to allow the battery to recharge itself. We're sorry you've had a disappointing experience using our Crest 3D Daily Whitening Serum, Susan. The average user will see noticeable whitening after 14 treatments, although some people take a little longer to get as white as they'd like. Correct application is super important for the Serums to work its best. We recommend you dry your teeth with a tissue or paper towel before applying, and then paint the serums in a downward motion onto your smile teeth, being sure to cover them completely. Avoid brushing in a circular motion while applying, and avoid reaching too far back into your mouth where the product will tend to mix more with your saliva. Also, avoid eating, drinking, smoking, or chewing gum for 30 minutes after applying.
