Review of cvs air purifier
I had been feeling like the air in my apartment was not great. I used coupons for my purchase but would have also paid full price because within a couple of hours after plugging it in to my living room wall unit it made the air feel Amd smell more fresh. It's quiet even on high speed! It's very effective! I'm very happy with my purchase! Unable to find replacement filters
This little desktop Air Purifier is actually very good. However, CVS should STOP selling this product since they do not have replacement filters. Would you buy a printer if you couldn't get replacement ink? NO. I tried to find compatible filters at Amazon but were unable to do so. No replacement filters sold
This is a fantastic little air purifier and works great for my room that has an enclosed litter box in it. Can't smells thing. But the fact that CVS doesn't sell replacement filters for this is ridiculous. Amazon sells filters that look like they might fit, but they are still half (or more) of the price paid for the entire CVS purifier. It is what you get!
This unit is great for what it is, if you want a quick something to filter a small room. Do note its 7 in diameter ;) My particulate matter sensors did pick up noticeable improvement for PM2.5 and PM 10, but not PM0.3, which can just about be expected. E11 (this filter) is about MERV 16, which is just a bit less than MERV 17 (required for HEPA), but captures most of the bad stuff! This is comparable to IKEA's UPPÅTVIND which claims just a bit better filtration efficiency of 99.5 vs 90-95 in ISO 29463, but, this is much more accessible as most of the CVSs near me had it. Most complaints/negative reviews for this purifier are about lack of replaceable filters. They exist, but are just about the same price as this whole unit itself if you bring this $40 unit down with CVS discounts.
