Sorry, it probably is a great product. I just want the instructions because I don't have the instruction insert in my box and the instructions are nowhere to be found in the reviews or in the product listing. Worth every penny
My boyfriend is trying to be extra careful, because having a baby would be VERY bad timing, and I totally 100% respect that, so the 99% accuracy on the box is a huge factor for him. Of course we hate condoms (who doesn't?) so using condoms only three days out of my cycle - we are SUPER careful and use protection every time as soon as I get two lines - actually saves us money as well as making things a lot more fun and pleasurable. I'm super regular usually (okay tbh I'm really late for my period this cycle but whatever totally happens sometimes) so we usually get two lines the very first time I test because I know when I'm in the danger zone and by the time I'm testing I'm pretty sure it's already condom time anyway. Borrowed from my sister, now buying my own
So my boyfriend and I were ready to do it for the first time, so I went to my older sister for advice. She explained all about how to use these sticks so we didn't have to use a condom. It was really special for us that way, and I could totally relax because the test told me we were safe. Amazing! Birth control made easy
My mother-in-law is an IVF nurse. I normally would be weirded out talking to my in-laws about my birth control - especially since I know my mother-in-law has grand baby "fever". But she has been super cool about helping me with free advice on contraception. We were using both the pill and condoms, but she explained all about that these tests are 99% accurate and explained to me how to use them to track when I'm fertile. I was soooo nervous quitting the pill and having unprotected sex and relying on these tests. I was like - it's day 12, no condom, really? And then I really freaked when I got two lines the next morning. But she kept telling me it was totally okay, and sure enough I just got my period yesterday. I am convinced! No pill, no condoms, no pulling out except three-four days a month? Really? Pregnant after our first time trying!
I have realllly been wanting a baby, but I wasn't sure how my boyfriend would feel about having unprotected sex. These tests helped me find the perfect time to have our little talk about making love without a condom. He was so sweet about it! I made sure we got together the same day I got the two lines on the test. When he reached for a condom, I took it out his hand and told him, "It's my right time of the month for your little swimmers to be inside me." I thought he'd be really nervous, but when I told him I had taken a test to be sure, he was very enthusiastic! It was our first time without a condom. Does not work
I love almost everything CVS brand, but these don't work. Screen doesn't ever populate anything, not even the test strip. Peeing on plastic for no result whatsoever. Confusing results, hard to read
I usually get 1 clear day of surge with the other brand I was using, I have had 4 days of positive results now with the cvs brand now. Do not trust these. So much better than the pill!
I really don't want to be on hormonal birth control because it kills my sex drive and makes me bloat. And my fiancé and I don't want to use condoms every time we make love. But making a baby would be very bad timing for us. This ovulation test is the perfect solution. Pee on the stick before going to bed at night, and in just a minute or two you have a 99% accurate answer whether you are fertile. Don't see a second line, totally safe with no condom. See a second line, that's your 24-48 hour warning before you ovulate. Once you ovulate, then obviously unprotected sex is risky. Your egg lives only a day, but the test is accurate only to 48 hours. That means unless you are okay with some risk of pregnancy, you MUST start using protection after you get a positive and continue to use protection for 72 hours (three days.). It's so simple I don't know anyone still uses the pill.35 users found this review helpful.
