I have fairly mild acne, it flairs up heavily once in a while. This acne cream (it's definitely not a gel) is actually really effective! I would be cautious if you have sensitive skin (I do), as it's very drying, but it hasn't done me wrong yet. Worth It
I have really bad cystic acne and this does wonders for me. At first it did make my skin really dry and a bit flaky, but after while my skin got used to the product and that doesn't happen anymore. Be careful with the other products you use with this because some products don't react well with this and will burn your skin. I use the CeraVe foaming face wash and daily moisturizer with this and it works perfectly. Also be careful if you wear this throughout the night because it will bleach your pillow cases if they are colored. I also noticed that it has slightly bleached my eyebrows lol. - MarianneReviewed 4 years agoDO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! This product has peroxide and has ruined 4 of my hand towels! Even after thoroughly washing my hands, it still gets on the towels and results in many large bleach spots. It has cost me at least $50 in towel replacement! There is no warning on the product that it will do this. I highly recommend that CVS find a new product to put their name on!0 users found this review helpful.
