Supportive but not stablizing
This device was more supportive than my support socks but not as strong as I needed for my sprain. In the end I needed something else for several days. Then this was good after the sprain healed for a week. Using it now...

Firm hold around your ankle
The product is definitly firm on the ankle but noticed a slight tear begining around the lower straps . They may need to use a stronger but yet breathable material so it can hold along with its firmness
