I brought CVS Health Iodine Tincture and I am so glad I did! I use it after a really bad burn it it help me to much! It cleaned it out and helped keep it clean ! I was able to heal just perfectly after using it! Perfect!
This is perfect for scrapes and cuts for prevention of infections. It kills bacteria so that before you bandage up your wound, you won't trap any of the "bad stuff" in. You do need to be careful with usage though because it does stain! You don't need pour a lot on your skin; just enough to fully cover the area. Growing up Mom always had Iodine Antiseptic around the house. It always stung on a scrape or sore. But, Mom said it would help and after the sting, it did help it to heal better. I thought I had some Iodine in my medicine cabinet and realized I did not have any. Iodine was always around in families medicine cabinet. Plus, it helps sores heal faster and is always a good antiseptic to have around when these injuries happen. I am a big believer in Iodine antiseptic. So far so good
My son got hurt and I was able to use this product on his cut. He said it stung a little bit but not too much. I can not speak on just how great it worked but I can say that his cut did not get infected so I am sure it did what it was supposed to do. You do not need to use a lot a little goes a long way. This would be great to have on hand with these injuries come up. It comes in a small bottle that allows for easy storage and easy use. CVS is also a reliable store to buy first aid supplies. What can you say about iodine? The CVS iodine tincture is iodine. It works to prevent and treat infections. It's a good product. If you need iodine I would recommend the CVS iodine tincture. I love this cvs iodine tincture USP. I like the wand which is attached to the cap to use on the cuts, scrapes, and burns. it does not Sting or burn when applied. It does leave a brownish color.
