The iodine tincture usp is a good thing to have with your first aid kit. It helps prevent infections but before buying you should always read the cautions. It is poisonous if ingested but I trust my family to use it correctly. Good things come in small packages

Takes away the burn
When I applied this iodine to my cut it instantly took away the burn. My mom used this on us all the time when we were kids. It's very simple and easy to apply. A solution that's a simple solution
Fun topic >>>nail fungus, LOL. Well, maybe not so much fun. Actually more of an annoyance. The medical folks have a "cure" that can be used, but it is "very hard" on the liver, and after one finally gets rid of the fungus, it's very easy for the fungus to start back up again. So... Up to now I've used a "decolorized" iodine which has almost no iodine in it. While it appeared to help, I felt that it wasn't really, "doing the trick." Switched to this with a higher iodine content and it seems more effective in limiting/controlling the fungus, plus I doubt the fungus can survive the mixture. Anyway, so far so good. Also, doesn't burn or sting like old time iodine, so a decent compromise. perfect size for any first aid kit
I used this for my first aid kit because it is the perfect size to always have on hand. I have a kit for each car and in the house as well. A good add in my kit. Great for humans and pets alike. Has multiple uses, including disinfecting, which is the only reason I would use it, but could also help with other things.
