CVS Health Iodine Tincture USP is a must have in my first aid kit. Work's great on cuts, scrapes and burns and helps prevent infection which is a big plus. Iodine Tincture is made with iodine, sodium iodine and alcohol and meets USP standards for quality and purity. It's easy to use. Just clean the affected area and then apply. Let dry and you're good. A bandage may be applied if needed. This CVS brand Iodine tincture is made with the same quality ingredients as name brands. It comes in an easy to open bottle, not childproof, and has an applicator wand built into the lid. It came with a 3 year expiration, which is good because it's a decent size bottle that I expect to last a while. This iodine works great for a multitude of first aide uses and is a good staple to keep in first aid kits. The solution is thin and spreads easily. Used it as a kid and always keep it around!
Children frequently sustain scratches and other wounds so I like to keep this on hand along with other things. It helps me make sure I can help heal the wounds completely. I use this iodine tincture fairly regularly. I used tincture on my cuts and wounds as a child so we also always had it around our house growing up. The safest method to implement is this. Awesome Stuff!!
My Husband is a Brittle Type 1 Diabetic. So whenever he gets any kinds of scratches or small wounds on any parts of his body, especially his feet, we have to make sure they don't get infected. The only thing we have found to keep that from happening is this IODINE TINCTURE USP!! There is absolutely nothing else that will keep his wounds from getting infected like this stuff does!! Not Even Antibiotics!! I have Highly Recommended This To All My Friends And Family!! Great for minor cuts
My kids get lots of scratches and injuries by falling on the group. Besides using hydrogen peroxide I use this iodine tincture to avoid infection. I grew up having tincture on my cuts and injuries. This is the safest thing to use. Reminds me of my childhood
Growing up, my grandmother always used iodine on my cuts and bug bites instead of alcohol or peroxide. I work outdoors in an automotive shop and often get bit by mosquitoes. I put on my CVS Health Iodine Tincture and none of my bites have gotten infected. Sometimes I itch so bad that I bleed so this iodine tincture helps me not make it worse.
