Helped with bad indigestion

Protect works as well as most brand named items. Comes in several different flavors and strengths. So much better than Gavison!
I was encouraged by my ENT to take Gaviscon for my GERD, so I did. It was so vile I had to work to keep it down, and it was going to be expensive. I decided to try the CVS brand, since not only were the active ingredients the same, the price was so much better, and it comes with its own dose measure. I had had to use kitchen measuring spoons (even though the Gaviscon bottle says not to) until I purchased a medicine spoon. Originally I tried the mint and cherry; both were fine- not even really unpleasant. This flavor is also not even unpleasant- it actually kind of tastes like coffee creamer. The reasons I didn't give this 5 stars was that I can see this possibly ruining coffee creamers for those who love them, and I can see a child chugging the bottle thinking it's a kind of beverage.
