After getting LASIK surgery and running out of my name brand Refresh Plus drops I switched to these generic drops assuming that since I'd mostly healed and these appeared to be the same as the brand name it would be fine. Within 2 weeks I was experiencing regular dryness, cloudy vision, and sometimes spontaneous stinging, so much so that my doc put me back on the steroid drops for 4 weeks to reduce inflammation. Yet the dryness and occasional stinging persisted. I then switched back to the name brand Refresh drops and issues rapidly resolved. Could it all be coincidental timing? Maybe, but the brand name drops are clearly more viscous, feel better in the eye, and are easier to dispense. They work!
They make my eyes feel relieved instantly and for a long time!
