    I was very happy to find just the combs to buy...without a bottle of anti-lice chemical product. Online recommendations these days are for using olive or tea tree oil along with a nit comb. The metal combs are sturdy and worked very well.

    AWFUL! WORTHLESS! This comb does not comb out nits or lice. The tines are too far apart and they are not spiral so they do not even disturb the nits. DO NOT BUY!!!

    Worked awesome

    I just bought this set late last night & did the Rid treatment this morning and my Mom went through my hair with these combs and she found what was needed to find - live louse and black & white dots later learned they were eggs. After she went through the whole head hair by hair she went through again & found nothing. I went through my hair with it and wow I thought it was going to be easy to put my hair through, it wasn't it and that is great, that is how you are able to get the crawlers and the eggs.

    Does not work

    I bought this set when my girls had lice to check my boys for lice. (I had an awesome comb to use on my girls, but wanted a separate one for the family members who didn't have it.) Metal combs are what you want for lice (my girls with long, thick hair had it) but this is not a good one. The tines are too far apart, and there are no spiral cut nit grabbers on them). Purchase a good one for about 10 bucks on one of those big warehouse, online only sites BEFORE your family has lice so that you are ready. The right comb, and the method in which you use it, is 80% of the battle. Returning this for a refund.
