- TessaReviewed 5 years agoThere are no instructions of how or in what direction to put in the batteries. There are no instructions of how to turn on the light. The lens is blurry and hard to see through.3 users found this review helpful.
- Sí, recomiendoNurseMomReviewed 5 years agoIt really does a good job in me seeing into my 17month olds ear, but the stupid tip just won’t stay on, but for the price you can’t beat that I guess.5 users found this review helpful.

Meh!
We bought this in a pinch because our last otoscope was broken after being accidentally knocked off a table. I didn't seem to have the same problem with the lens (nor the light) as others claimed, and was able to clearly see inside my son's ears without any problem. I like having the additional tongue depressors, nasal scope and mouth mirrror -that certainly comes in handy. That being said, it ALSO should have included child size nasal and ear pieces, as the pieces included seem a bit too large for use on an infant and/or toddler. The thing I am truly disappointed with, is the lack of a "click-type", on/off switch for the pen light. The connection is EXTREMELY pressure sensitive, leaving the light and batteries vulnerable to wearing down. When stored, should the light switch inadvertently lean against another object, the light will automatically turn on, drain the batteries, and render this scope totally useless when REALLY needed! All in all, just two stars. The over all price for this was reasonable - as I said, I needed it in a pinch! However, improve those few things I mentioned -AND while you're at it -toss in a couple of AAA batteries for it, and I'll give this an extra star or two! ;)10 users found this review helpful. - MysticRoseSWGReviewed 8 years ago
Junk
It falls apart and you can't see into ears with it! Total waist of money!3 users found this review helpful. - NixFamilyReviewed 9 years ago
Doesn't Work
Bought this today. The lense is horribly blurry, and the light is directed straight up, and reflects right back into your eyes instead of down the ear. You can literally see nothing with the ear speculum attached. I understand the cheap thin plastic. I didn't expect hospital quality, but I expected to at least do what it advertises. One of the worst products I have ever purchased.4 users found this review helpful. - danvillemanReviewed 9 years ago
Worst lens ever
Bought this to get a splinter out and the lens is so bad that I had to use my kids playset Dr Kit for a better lens. Do not buy.3 users found this review helpful.
