We are an active sports family and have lots of pulled muscles and bumps and bruises weekly. We often use a plastic bag with ice, but decided to give this ice bag a try and we are very pleased. It holds a lot Of ice and the lid closes tightly to avoid any melted ice from spilling. I am happy with the size of the wrap and really like that it is adjustable depending on where you place it. Amazing Item!
I bought this item a few weeks ago after hurting my ankle!! The ice bag stayed put due to the wrap it came with which was a tremendous help! The compression aspect helped with swelling as well! Frozen bag great for lower back pain
Fell on iced over steps a couple of years ago, and injured my lower back. Whenever I have a flare, I put ice cubes in the bag, and let it rest on my back for about thirty minutes for instant relief. Reusable, doesn't leak, and stays in place!
We have an automatic ice maker and in the past we would use a plastic baggie to make our own ice pack. This pack is reusable and stays sealed so you don't have any leaks. My favorite part is the included strap, which holds the pack tight on the area you need it. I've used it several times now on my knees and ankles after workouts. You can also move around with the pack in place so you can get some other things done. Very handy
This re-useable ice bag and wrap is great! I use it on my elbow if I pulled a muscle or strained my muscles in the gym and it's great at providing relief. Nice Ice Bag Compression Kit
This kit has come in handy several times since we received it. The added compression is very nice and holds the ice bag very well. It does not slip at all and does not drip or sweat near as much. CVS Reusable Ice Bag
I received the CVS reusable ice bag and wrap to try and state my thoughts and opinions. I was excited by the durable feeling of the reusable ice bag. It feels nice and thick and that it will last a long while. The opening to put in ice and water is a screw top and I found no issues with it leaking when I used this, no matter if the the opening was turned towards the floor or celing. I was able to choose crushed ice from my fridge and hold the opening at the chute. I would have to adjust the ice bag a bit to get ice down into.the bag, but it wasn't hard to fill. I used this mostly to help with obnoxious knee pain I experince from osteoarthritis. My knee pain can make it hard for me to walk and at times bring me to tears. I found this ice pack so much easier to use. Put in some ice chunks and a bit of water to slosh around in the bag. I wrapped the wrap around the top opening, fastened the pack around my knee and cinched it down. It stayed in place delightfully, keeping the ice bag where I positioned it comfortably. I couldn't really get up and walk about the house, but it would stay close to my knee and didn't fall up. I was able to move the ice bag about, rearrange where the cold was focused and it was really easy to do. My only complaint about it wrap is that the velcro loops are pretty much not helpful. The loop and hook and fabric on the wrap just don't grab. The material is too short and tight and the loops too short and small, neither of these connect or hold. Fortunately, the circles cut in the wrap allowing you use on neck, shoulder, head, knees, elbows, allow you liberty to wrap the ice bag and positon the holes to hold the bag in place. There are 4 holes. One is near an end and there are three close together near the other end of the wrap. It gives you some alternatives to how loose or tight, and how or where you want to put the wrap. The ice bag, upon finishing that day's use, needs to be emptied and air dried so it won't get gunky or moldy inside. This seems like it will be very useful, easy to manipulate and move the bag to wrap effectively around an area like the knee and it being a 9 inch ice bag, it provides some helpful coverage. This is a nice addition to helpful first aid items.0 users found this review helpful.
