Bowl bottom failed when filled halfway full .
We have purchased and used Dixie ultra plates and bowls for many years at home and while camping. There was never an issue with failure like we had this time. Filled bowl halfway full of great northern bean soup. Dixie ultra 20 oz bowl failed in about two minutes.The bottom completely let go.Bean soup covered my neighbors stomach and lap. I was embarrassed by what had happened. 29 bowls - holiday print
I bought a package of 28 bowls red trim -christmas trees - clearly marked 28 bowls - got home to my party of 22 people - and there were only 18 bowls in the package - we all looked ... they were not stuck together - several people counted and tried to see if they were sticking together - but there were only 18 in the package-Reply from Michelle1 month agoWe are sorry to hear that! The Only Disposable Bowl I'll Use or Serve!
Dixie Ultra Bowls can hold soup without getting soggy or seeping-through, so, of course, they can handle everything else I serve in them. Dixie Ultra Plates and Bowls, for years, are the only brand I'll buy! They don't collapse when holding one side, and they don't get all gross. Best of all, it only takes **ONE** to serve a person, not a double or triple stack, haha! Great if you have toddlers
