I bought this walker for my Mom after extensive research. When I pulled it out of the box I was thrilled until I read that I could not push my Mom when she was seated in the walker even for a short distance. I wish this was stated in the advertising since now I will need to return it. Drive does it again!
I purchased the Nitro DLX Rollator to replace my Drive Nitro. My old Nitro was finally past the point of no return (It served me well.) The new Nitro DLX Rollator is fantastic! It is a little larger and a bit heavier than the Drive Nitro, but it is more sturdy as well. Absolute Best Walker
This is absolutely the best walker I have owned. First trip I went to the beach with it. Not in the water of course, but handles packed sand perfectly. Goes through grass, dirt, gravel, bumps, humps, cracks, depressions.....there is no stopping it! I have had many walkers, but this is my first Rollator. Well worth the extra bucks. Nitro DLX Rollator (Champaign Color)
Have had this item for a week. Excellent quality, style & performance ... except for 3 items (2- needed design improvements). QUALITY ISSUE. Pull-out Knob for onboard bag storage: Too tight to remove; appears swollen/oversized -- other cap OK. DESIGN ISSUE: 1- Brakes need improvement . As designed are "almost" either full-off or full-on due to use of steel "comb" that engages tire, Unable to use intermediate braking when on medium down hill incline. Suggest addition of a semi-hard brake pad that engages tire before "full-stop" comb-teeth engage at maximum grip deflection. 2- Current (improved) swivel arm design needs angle adjustment. When tipping rollator forward down a standard height door platform-step of 6"-8" or more, wheels castor to toe-out position (by gravity), which sets up situation for wheels-locked no-rolling nose-over. See pix. Both issues are potential serious safety hazards! Please provide replacement Knob of proper diameter (Quality Issue).
