The blending sponge (as everyone knows), is amazing. I was confused about the highlighting sponge so I contacted ELF chat support (who were EXCELLENT, btw!) and afterwards I was able to do something I, in my decades of playing w face paints, have only been able to previously achieve by painstaking time and attention… apply highlighter along my high, sharp cheekbones without lifting my makeup or getting product *everywhere*. Best Blending Sponge I've Owned
I received this sponge about 3 months ago just before Christmas. My liquid foundation blends in seamlessly, leaving no bare spots or streaking on my nearly 60 yr old skin!! I prep my skin with moisturizer, color corrector and occasionally the pore minimizer. Give it a light spritz and I prefer to add little dots of foundation straight to my skin and blend. I bought this duo because all my sponges are WORN OUT. I got just about as much use as I could have gotten out of them. And these sponges are so much better and affordable than all my others! It’s ok.
The pink sponge is ok when you run it under water because it expands and doesn't feel like it's punching my face. The black I only use for setting my under eye because it doesn't expand in water nor blend well. Pink blending sponge sucks

Good product
