Not for combination skin
I've used the 'Poreless Face Primer' for years now, and while shopping one day, I decided to purchase the 'Hydrating Face Primer' instead. Excellent Product
I have to say I've used several different primers, from different companies, this by far has been the only one to actually keep my makeup in place. Good for specific needs
I bought this because I wanted hydration. With all that dimethicone, I'm not sure how much hydration I'm getting, but the thing I don't get is foundation oxidation. That has been the absolute bane of my beauty routine since puberty with literally every single foundation I've tried. Imagine my delight when the first time my makeup didn't turn orange within seconds of application! My foundation stayed true to color all day, and what's more, it didn't separate and break on my face the way it has with other primers. I'm in my 50s, so hydration is important, but I'm willing to sacrifice a little dewiness and just wear a little moisturizer for the sake of avoiding the fake-tanning fail look. Plus, a little goes a long way. One pump does my whole face, neck, and billboard sized forehead. As if that wasn't enough, it washes off cleanly, unlike many silicone containing products. Zero clogged pores. Would I recommend it to everyone? No. Would I suggest it to someone struggling with oxidation issues?
