Vibrant
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time trying an Essie nail polish, and I was pleased. The color is vibrant, and I appreciate that the top coat was included. It went on smoothly, but I noticed some streaks, and it chipped a bit after a few days. I'm not a nail technician, so maybe I need more practice, lol. When I went to put on the top coat, even though I gave it plenty of time to dry, it smudged out a whole spot on one of my toes. I also didn't like the color very much. But as for the dry time, we want to understand what happened just as much as you do. Great nail polish

Holds up against hand sanitizer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product and the top coat free in exchange for my honest review. This was my first time trying this 2 step formula from Essie. Pinky Ring is a vibrant, cool toned Barbie pink. It did require 3 coats for full opacity. The top coat doesn't dry super fast, but does dry very shiny and is very durable. I work in a hospital, and have noticed that hand sanitizer causes quick dry top coats to peel around the edges and pop my manicures off, but this top coat doesn't have that problem in the slightest. I am very impressed by that aspect and feel I have found my optimal work top coat. Even without base coat (as the instructions recommend), the polish lasted around 5 work days, usually polish lasts me around 2 days. I will say that the formula seems thin, and is overall not very self leveling compared to other formulas of polish.
