I have been using the Garnier Nutrisse 40 for quite a while and just tried the Nutrisse ultra coverage 400 after not dying my hair for about 3-4 months. It turned out wayy darker than I was expecting, nearly black, even though I followed directions and even washed it out at the 22 minute mark when I noticed it was way dark. I then washed it with clarifying shampoo about 5 times to get it to fade slightly, but it is still too dark. On the positive, it smells goodish and doesn't burn my scalp like other brands do. This is an intense deep brown to address the needs of the stubborn grays! #40-Dark Natural Brown is not as deep in color. Over time as you shampoo the color will lighten.
