I've used the smart plugs for everything from my straightener to our bedroom fan. It makes things very simple to operate with the use of my phone. Easy to install!

The C by GE C-Start On/Off Smart Plug works great for me because I can turn lights on and off without being in the room or even home! Also, putting this plug behind the areas that are impossible to reach makes life so much easier! Just plug it in..download the app to your phone or device..plug in whatever you desire..for me it's a lamp.. and voila! I can turn the lamp on and off whenever I want without having to even be in the room or home! Money Saver!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My work shifts often don't get me home until the early hours of the morning and leaving the lights on was doing a number on the electric bill. So, enter the Smart Plug from GM that I got a chance to test out. This little device plugs into a standard outlet (the other one is free for another plug) and works off of a program you download, the same as the google assistant. Plug it in, download the program and you program your lamps or other things to turn on at a certain time. For me, it's perfect because I'm not coming home to a dark house or one that was always lit up like it was Christmas. Now I can just tap the app that is programed on my phone and the lights come on just before I get home in the morning. Great money saver, easy to operate and with using Google, I got it right the first time. Awesome Plug
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my GE C-Start On/Off Smart Plug last week and I have already put it to great use. I plugged my lamp into it and I have a timer to turn it on and off while I am away from home for long hours make it look like someone is there. It is a great helper to keeping your home secure especially with all of the recent home robberies that have been happening in my area. I will be purchasing a few more for the bedrooms upstairs as well. What I love most is that you can control it from the app! Great smart plug!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smart plug is simply amazing. You do not need a hub for this smart plug. You plug it in and download the app. It works with the google assistant.The smart control will let you make your lamps coffee maker, fans and electronic devices smart controlled! You can schedule your devices to turn on and off. You can turn your lights on and off while you are away from home as well. You can also use voice command for devices but does require pairing to a google home device. Amazing smart plug
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is legit! The C by GE C-Start On/Off Smart Plug is amazing! It works with Google Home Assistant and Amazon Alexa. You can control it with you voice, thereby controlling devices like lamps, electronic devices and more with just your voice. It's so awesome! You can even set schedules and control it away from home. It essentially makes lamps smart*! It's super simple to install and set up and works right from your phone or Google/Amazon device. And then it will connect to your wifi. You can control it using your mobile device. Great Plug

I like the idea of being able to control my lights when Im away from home.
