You should receive our blades in the best condition, Steve, and we certainly want you to get a close smooth shave with them. It may be helpful to know that to get the best results with our razors, wash your face and neck with warm water and mild soap to help remove natural oils and sweat. This also makes hair softer and easier to cut. The best time to shave is right after a hot shower! Apply plenty of shaving gel, foam or cream to soften the beard hair and reduce friction. Also, be sure to shave in the direction of hair growth for a more comfortable shave, or against the direction of growth for an even smoother shave.
