Stopped working
Worked great until it stopped working entirely. I even brought a second one and that has now stopped working also. Changed batteries and kept it away from water and safely tucked away in a drawer. Oftentimes, following the "self clean" procedure will help restart the device: 1. Open the cutting module by tilting it back, as shown in the usage instruction for cleaning purposes 2. With open cutting module, turn motor on by rotating the switch to ON Position 3. While motor is on, close the cutting module 4. Wait a few seconds to allow the motor speed to stabilize - the vibration will help the device to "self clean" from any ingress of particles 5. Use the device normally To help keeping your appliance at top performance, oil the trimmer after wet usage or cleaning: Apply a drop of light machine oil on the trimmer, then briefly turn on to ensure the oil is distributed evenly. Guard broke after a few uses
I thought this trimmer was pretty effective the first few times I used it, but then the guard broke after a couple of months. Great product!
I recently bought this via the website when it was on sale. It worked straight out of the box as the battery is included, and it powers on/off with a simple twist. I was a bit dubious about how effective it would be, as I had left my lady garden to grow for some time. I understood the product description stated it worked well on thick hair, but as I was at the top level of the bush tier, I remained sceptical. I decided to use the product while in the shower as it was convenient and felt cleaner that way. At first, I attempted to trim with the comb on, but soon realised my front bottom would still resemble the head of a 1980s heartthrob. I took the comb off and went to town - it was super easy, painless and quick! I even used some Gillette Satin Care shaving gel, which seemed to make the trimmer glide through my pubic patch like a hot knife through butter. Amazing! The only negative to my experience was when I occasionally glanced down to see what looked like the aftermath of a grizzly bear fight, but you cant win them all, right? Works good but has problems.
I did like this, and I think it shaved well. One problem is the guard won't stay on. I had to keep putting it back on and then it broke. So useless unless you want all hair gone. Another big problem is when your hands are wet, you can't turn the bottom to turn it on. I really disliked that. I still have it but without the guard it has limited use.
