I think it's a good bar of soap
I've been using Irish Spring bar soap for over 50 years ( 20 years in the military and the rest civilian) and to tell you the truth, I honestly never noticed the formula change. I guess is does lather less but the scent seems the same and I've always like the smell of Irish Spring. I'll tell you why I knocked off 1 star in the rating, the soap bar always seems to break (long ways) when it gets to about 1/8 of the bar. I still will use this soap, been using most my life. Miss the old bars
I just now found out that the flaxseed oil variety is supposed to be the Original. It is not like the bar of soap I have used for ages. Very bad smelling soap
I'd give the new soap a 0 if I could. I've been using it since it first came out. I've been using aloe for many years. My wife bought aloe mist thinking it was just a new name. I opened the first bar and it smelled terribly of perfume so we next bought classic thinking it was the original but that also smells terrible. I don't know why companies think they have to change products that have been used for years. If you want to make soap with perfumes that smell awful make a new line and keep the old lines for customers who want them. Must have been thought up by the people that came up with "new Coke". Original Clean - Time to move on?

Someone should be fired
Just purchased two 20 bar cases of what I thought was "Original" Irish Spring bar soap. It'll be returned immediately. Lots of false advertising going on with calling this "Original." Not even close. A very poor example of even a "New" formula. Did Colgate-Palmolive hire the same person that tried to change the "Original" Coke formula. I'll be rethinking my stock portfolio as well! With one bad decision, comes others.
