I thought I bought the wrong Voluminous mascara, which I have used for years, but after reading other reviews, I realize your formula was changed. I have pulled out eyelashes to get this off using water and soap like it says but it does not come off. I am switching to another brand until you fix this. Why did you change it? Bring back the old formula
I have used this mascara for 20 years. This new formula is horrible. I hate the way it looks and feels on my lashes. New formula is terrible!!
I honestly thought I was the only one experiencing this, but after reading the reviews, it's clear that we all hate the new formula. I used to LOVE this mascara. Terrible new formula
Please please please change it back to the old formula! The new formula stings and thinned my eyelashes. I prefer the old one over any professional brand mascara. Change the formula back to washable #305, #335
I have been using Loreal's Voluminous Washable Mascara, #305 for decades and loved it. It would easily wash off with soap and water. Then I bought a new tube and it doesn't wash off with soap and water. It flakes when you try to wash it off and I have to use makeup remover. I checked the back of the package thinking I bought the wrong product but it stated it washes off with soap and water. The formula has been changed for some reason. So I bought another version of the Voluminous Washable Mascara, #335 which also says it washes off with soap and water but I have the same issue. It doesn't wash off with soap and water and I have to use Makeup remover. new formula causes burning and irritation
I am 52 years old and have been using this since I was in my 20s. I would try high end mascaras and always come back to Loreal Voluminous. I have had numerous people over the years ask what mascara am I using because it's so beautiful. I have recommended this to many people. The last couple of tubes I bought have caused my eyes to sting and burn. Just bringing to wand up to my lashes caused a reaction. If I can manage to apply it through my eyes watering it doesn't apply well and within a couple of hours my eyes are extremely irritated and I have to remove it and use artificial tears. At first I thought my dry eyes were becoming drier. Then I thought maybe I had a bad tube so I tried another. I only keep my mascara for two months regardless of it I finish it. I put a sticker on it with the date I open it so I know when to get rid of it. After reading the other reviews I now see it's not just me. I didn't realize the formula changed. I will not buy it again. I bought Noir Balm as a replacement and so far it's pretty good, but with less volume. Why change a good thing?Reply from lorealparisusa.comHace 2 mesesHello LMPT. ! Sad, formerly loyal Voluminous customer
I bought a new tube of "Original" Voluminous recently and thought I was losing my mind. This has been my favorite mascara for YEARS, and suddenly, it was flaky, hard to remove, not at all the smooth formula I was used to. I thought maybe I had gotten a bad tube, but then realized it looked a bit different. I'm so sad to realize that L'Oréal changed the formula - now I'll have to switch products!
