Why This Is The Perfect Pan Foundation For Me
It has become next to impossible to find a powder (and liquid, for that matter) to match my skin tone that lies between Cool and Neutral. L A Girl's Ivory compact is the closest I have ever found. In fact, it's a downright match. I use a big, fluffy brush to apply it and it works seamlessly. I get an even coverage and it stays put for the day. Of course, I do use a primer, at the beginning, and when done with my makeup, I use a finishing spray to hold it all in place. This does not negate my pleasure for this pressed compact. My order is for 2 as they will serve as back-ups for the one compact I am about to finish. Now to talk about how this feels. It's soft even though it is coming out of a pressed compact. My large, fluffy brush has no problems swiping up some product and transferring to my skin. I have only tried once to use it as a wet foundation and it seemed too much trouble.
