higher than most stores around that carry this

Decent product and a top-rated store assistant
I have a number of these Lasko box fans to serve a number of functions that enable me to use far less air conditioning than I otherwise could -- exhaust fans in the windows, in doorways to move air between rooms and within rooms just to create movement as would a ceiling fan. The fans, several of which now are over a decade old, always have been rock-solid reliable.
