I have purchased this headphone over the years for my mobile cell devices running its default music player and 2 other music players I downloaded to my mobile phone. These Philips headphones always delivers superb sound. You can never be confused where to place the headphones because the earhook is snugly pre-positioned for stereo left or stereo right. Runners and pedestrians can appreciate that functionality. Purchased extra unit for my musician son who listens to his compositions on his computer when he needs to listen privately. For me, these are the almost perfect head phones for when I want to listen to music or audio books while being very active. If I am out riding, hiking, or doing yard work, I want to have some sense of my surroundings. Since these don't wedge into my ears like the in-ear headphones (which constantly pop out anyway), I can get some sense of the ambient sounds. The hook design and material are comfortable for me and do not look gaudy and huge like most other earhook designs on the market. The only place where these headphones fail to please me is the inclusion of a microphone and remote controls. With all of the abilities of my smartphone, it is all I carry and listen to when I am out and I could really use these features. Philips, please add a microphone and remote to this product line. You already do it for your other earhook products....oh, and consider incorporating a 90 degree plug. Great product....especially for the price.
I purchased three of these for myself and my teenage daughters. My daughters used them for a while and eventually they decided that they prefer over the ear types of phones. As for me, I absolutely love this product. Granted they do not have the sonic quality of my higher end headphones, and I did not expect super audiophile quality especially in this price range but i was pleasantly surprise at the sound quality of these phiones. For phones that can be worn while performing activities such as bike riding, exercizing, or cutting the grass, I have no complaints. The bass and high frequency response is more than adequate IMO. The earhooks keeps the earbuds firmly planted over the ear canal with no slipping or movement at all. I realize that there are many types of ear sizes and shapes, therefore due to the lack of flexibility of the earhook, some people will have issues with fit. Fortunately I have not experienced this type of problem. Great Performance for inexpensive earhook headphones
I bought my first set when I was visiting NYC back in 2006 for my portable dvd player and I have been using these earphones ever since. They don't fall off while your working out or running on the cardio trendmill, the sound quality is crisp and clear, they are very loud compare to most expensive headphones and the headphones are very inexpensive. I use the headphones with my mp3 player, blackberry bold phone and lenovo t400 laptop. Thanks! Amazing
These pair of headphones though cheap in price are on one of the greatest earbuds I have EVER had! The sound on them is just absolutly amazing so even though these are cheap in price if I dished out some good cash on some philips headphones just the quality! Mother of all Headphones
These Philips headphones have truly been a godsend! They stay put on your ears even in the midst of the most rigorous workout. The volume output is exceptional, even for a musician who prefers to practice his music along to his favorite tunes (myself). Their solid construction allows them to take a beating, even when I need to stuff them in my pocket along with other things at a moment's notice.
