[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Curly haired ladies, remember to scrunch hair after it has dried. This will help get rid of any crunchy, hard pieces and activates the curl. That being said, this gel curl does help with curls and controls frizziness. My main reason for the 3 stars is that it leaves behind a tangible residue that does not feel soft. NOT Great for THICK Indigenous Hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, sooooo, Okay ~ I received a Complimentary Full Size Bottle of @marcanthonyhaircare via @influenster ~ Strictly Curls, Define & Hold Flex Gel w/Shea Butter. I chose dis for da Husband because HE still works in da Field & does his Hair {Spike thang} for Work. "I" wanted ta give it a Go because, wellllll, I have a Medusa Head of Hair & I have yet ta find ANYTHING other than the Three Separate Hair Brands I have used thus far ta ACTUALLY get THROUGH MY HEAD of HAIR!! ASK ANY INDIGENOUS ~ OUR HAIR "IS" its OWN ENTITY & OUR HAIR & HAIRCARE MEANS sooooooo MUCH ta Us!!! Unfortunately, dis Did Not work for My Hair. It's EXTREMELY HEAVY, THICK & Hard ta Manage. I DO think da Hubby will have bettah luck wit it, I jus was hoping it would work for me. Light and soft with geeat control!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Curly hair is very unpredictable in my opinion. That makes it frustrating. Finding the right products makes this easier. I believe that once you find those products I tend to stay loyal. But always willing to try something new when presented with opportunity. This is perfect example. I replaced usual gel with this product with other steps normally. I was impressed with the lightness and softness that naturally happened when it was dry. The next day I sprayed hair with water and put a tiny bit in palms just to get controls of a few stray hairs and it dried great. Very happy with this product. Get ready for curly hair!

It smells nice, it really helped my natural curly hair to look like a full curl from root to tip. Strong holding curls
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wavy shred hair, but my husband has very strong curly hair and he really like this product, it's not drying and it doesn't make your hair feel crunchy and it really moisturize and keep stomach curls in places and it looks and smells phenomenal too. The definition I've seen when using this product is beautiful! I break the slight gel cast with a good hair oil and it leaves my hair smelling great and looking even better !
