I have been using these gems for 15+ years! They are the smoothest brow pencils EVER!! However, I am deeply saddened and disappointed because something has seemed to change with them. The "Dark Brown" color now has a STRONG RED tint/color to it. My brows are black. The Velvet Black pencil is too intense for my brows, and now my beloved Dark Brown color is an absolute no go. The reddish tint stands out like a sore thumb on my face. I dont know what happened, but these pencils are my favorite of all time! Nothing beats them!! I have been using them since I was a teenager. Why would you discontinue?
I have been looking for grey eyebrow pencils. I have always purchased the Maybelline brand but grey cannot be found. I know several women who feel the same way. In fact, when I came to this site to look, a lady left a comment saying the same thing. I know it is about the monetary bottom line but I think you are missing a large part of the market. Your pencil is such a beautiful contrast to graying hair with no other colors showing through and yet, not too heavy on any one color. The other brands I have tried cannot compete with your product. Charcoal grey
I'll been using twin brow pencils since I was in jr.high school. Maybe 20 years ago maybe line discounted the charcoal grey color. At that time my daughter searched the internet and bought several packages for me. Now I'm 75 and down to my last package. I check occasionally to see if I can find charcoal grey anywhere without any luck. I don't like your other colors. Would love to get charcoal grey again. By the way I still have my old sharpener. Dark brown is light reddish brown
Bought "dark brown" and it's a light brown with reddish tint. Looks completely wrong on my eyes and brows, as I needed a dark brown (without red tone to it). I'm annoyed that I wasted money on this because the color is not accurately described. Problem opening
Have used the blond pencils for years. Bought new twin pack and cannot get covering off each individual pencil. Used to be kind of like a tear strip. Tried everything but cannot open so able to remove cap. Used fingernail file but it just went into the wood. I have used the Dark Brown Pencil for years.
I'm super upset that the Dark Browns color has changed! The dark brown was always a nice dark chocolate brown, now it's much lighter and very red! It looks like medium brown but with more red. Stays on lower wet line the best.
Third generation user! Yes you need to sharpen it, and sometimes you may need to soften it with a lighter or a candle, but by golly this one is "prairie and beach" proof. It stays on the wet line without smudging down, it lasts through extreme wind, heat, and weather. An oldie but a reliable goody.
