I have been using Maybelline mascara since I was 16. I started buying it when it was in a red tube. Through the years I have tried others, even ones that said it was for "mature eyes. I'm now 70 and feel this mascara can't be beat. I was so excited to get my first mascara. I saw the review for this and I thought that I should get it because I can also wear it with contacts. After begging my mom I just bought it today and the second I got home I ran up to my vanity and started applying it. Now I know how to put mascara on but this was not lifting my lashes or anything and just made them look wet so I called my mom and asked her can you please put it on for me because I don’t think it’s working so she came and applied it but it still did not work. Now I am sitting on my bed writing this review with scratchy eyes hoping I don't have an infection and thinking if I should keep the mascara because I really want to wear it to school but I think after tomorrow I will return this and lets hope they tale it back because I was so excited I ripped it open. Pipe cleaner applicator brush 😣
The clear is wonderful however the applicator is a cheap piece of pipe cleaner and very unsafe. Good to use when dark mascara is not an option.
