Broken
Bought it a few hours ago and just tried it for the first time and the tip fell off while I was applying it.Reply from Maybelline4 weeks agoHello there! For best results, insert the pencil into the sharpener no more than 1/4 of an inch and gently turn the pencil 3 or 4 times. Not able to advance nor sharpen easily.
I love this.product, however it sucks that you literally cannot sharpen it to continuously use it. I've tried twisting the bottom as indicated online that didn't work i tried using a sharpener but it creates sharp edges which make it hard to line your lips and there us no way to lightly sharpen it because of the plastic shell. Cure color but broken

Despite the plastic-coated appearance of the liner, it can be sharpened with any cosmetic sharpener. For best results, turn the pencil gently 3 or 4 times, being careful not to apply excess pressure. After sharpening, remove all shavings from the blade edge.
