Applying on dry hair can lead to flakiness. Use a small amount of product initially and gradually add more if needed. Overuse can cause product buildup and flakes. Consider if mixing the custard with a bit of water in your palms before applying to distribute the product more evenly would work better for you. Layering Products: Avoid layering too many products as this can cause flakiness. Stick to lightweight leave-ins or conditioners that are compatible with the custard. Consider using a clarifying shampoo periodically to remove any product buildup from previous applications. Drying Techniques: Allow hair to air dry or use a hooded dryer. Avoid using high heat directly as it can cause the product to dry unevenly and flake. If using a diffuser, make sure it's on a low heat setting to prevent the custard from hardening too quickly and creating flakes. Product Compatibility: Perform a patch test with any other products you're using to ensure they work well together and do not cause flakiness.
