Pore blurring
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this mattifying primer for two weeks before leaving this review. I like that this primer is quite lightweight and able to blur my pores. I have combination skin so my T zone is always oily. This primer helps to mattify my skin and leave a nice smooth canvas for the foundation application. I also like that this primer doesn't cause any irritation or breakout which is a big plus. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Neutrogena Shine Control Mattifying Primer from The Home Tester Club in exchange for my honest feedback in a review. I normally have oily skin, which requires me to use water-based makeup. I have used mattifying primer under my makeup for several years, so I wasn't trying a mattifying primer for the first time when I used this Neutrogena Mattifying Primer. I noticed it was pretty good overall, except after about five hours, my face was beginning to look oily. I really like that it is non-comedogenic, so it won't clog my pores. Also, it doesn't feel heavy on my skin like some primers can. One thing that I didn't like was that I don't think it did as great of a job as other primers when it comes to the way my makeup looks after using the primer and how long the makeup lasts. Mattifying Primer

just ok

Decreases shine

I've used expensive designer brands and I have to say this is comparable. It helps control shine under my foundation. My pores look a little smaller. Works but doesn’t last
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very prone to shiny and oily skin, especially after a long day or a night out. I was hoping this primer would keep my makeup in place and keep it looking fresh. Unfortunately, it was not a match for my skin. I do like that the primer has no scent and is not irritating to the skin. It did not cause me any breakouts and it worked well immediately. Excellent facial product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited for this test and review for one, because Neutrogena's great reputation and the numerous good results that I've had in the past, or for two that this was almost exactly what I've been looking for!!! This new mattifying primer with shine control from Neutrogena includes niacinamide and is a non-comedogenic. It offers a wonderful mattifying base which targets only areas and prevents them from affecting the results of your other makeups. It applies nicely and smoothly and drives quickly with no odor or residue and removal was near just as easy. It is a great addition to anyone's regular routine or in particular those like me who are prone to combination skin and experience the occasional oily patch throughout.
