I loved the original version of this mask until the reformulation that happened fairly recently. I thought it was just the packaging but upon using the mask everything about it has changed and my favorite aspects were gone. I don’t mind fragrance and I loved the old smell…. I believe they also changed something major with the whole formula because it’s super thick now and doesn’t make my hair feel as close to how soft it was with the old formula. I will mourn this product forever… Nexxus… please bring back the old mask…. it smelled so good and made my hair feel so hydrated and soft without me having to worry about it weighing my hair down (and I have super oily hair)…. Would not recommend!
DO NOT USE if floral scents bother you. The scent is so sooo overpowering. I applied it Saturday evening, realizing quickly it was a mistake. I cannot get the scent out of my hair. I immediately washed it out w my normal shampoo twice. Then did an Apple Cider vinegar rinse, then tried a baking soda mixture. Sunday used my normal shampoo again.. no such luck. Today is Monday. In morning I used my normal shampoo. No dent in smell. During the noon hour I tried Dawn dish soap. I have such a bad migraine from this.
