[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm normally a huge fan of Not Your Mother's products but the Curl Talk Refreshing Curl Foam was a disappointment for me. I have 2C curls. I applied the foam to 3rd day hair and I noticed no difference whatsoever. If anything, my curls seemed a bit messier and more limp. I tried using it with both wetting hair a bit prior, as well as on dry hair. In both cases, I had the same disappointing results. I don't know. Maybe it's just my hair or curl pattern, but this didn't work for me. Amazing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Curl Talk left my hair silky. I could not imagine that this hair product would make my hair as nice and silky as it is. Works great for coarse hair!
As I'm aging, the texture of my hair is changing, rendering the products I've used my whole adult life, useless. I have very thick, coarse, kinda frizzy hair. I'd say it's like a cross between black and white hair, although I'm all Italian. Anyway, I was randomly walking through target when I stumbled upon this brand and their display. I figured, let me just try it, if it's no good, I'll bring it back. To my great surprise, my curls turned out so pretty and soft! It doesn't leave it crispy, or that wet look, that my mom hates so much. I do use just a few sprays of my aussie hair spray with it. I would def recommend this product to anyone with my type of hair. I use it right outta the shower. Towel dry my hair, apply a few pumps of this, and blow dry. Wish it could travel
I love this stuff for my day 2 bedhead. My curls are smaller, but my hair is very fine, so frizz is a big issue. This calms it down and gets me back to a wash day look. I really wanted to like it
I love the curl talk and the naturals lines but this one missed the mark for me. Unfortunately, it left my hair, sticky, frizzy and weighed down. Awesome!
A saving grace for me for refreh days. I use a small amount directly in my hair when I'm short on time. I also slightly dampen my hair, add product, and diffuse when time allows.
