Pro MUA here. When it comes to products, I use high-end brands with price tags to match, along with drugstore options - both new and old. In my mind, if it works, it works - regardless of the name on the label. That being said, this product is definitely on my list of favorites. It's a smooth formula that glides on well without being waxy or clumpy. The pencil is a flat rectangular shape, and allows for some precision, as well as ease in filling in a bit more. It's versatile… but this shape is not my personal favorite. So many people prefer this shape over others though, so keep that in mind. The major thing I would change about it is the shade range. It's pretty decent especially compared to other brands (8 shades), but as a blonde, I always have struggles with the lighter tones - especially when it comes to warmth. I prefer a soft ash brown over a blonde or taupe, but all of the blonde to medium brown options tend to run too warm. (The lightest shade is too green-y in attempt to counteract the red.) Because of the thin skin on the brow, ALL brow products will pull warmer once applied than it would if used in another area. Because of this, a brow product that is technically neutral or even just slightly warm will exaggerate those red/orange pigments even more. For someone like me that has basically "clear," seemingly non-existent brows because they are so blonde, just a slight difference in undertone has a huge impact since I'm essentially drawing my entire brow on from scratch. For most people, you should have no issues in finding a shade, plus the formula is beautiful, so I wanted to give it 5 stars, but felt like I had to make mention of my own tribulation with it since it's not technically "perfect." Overall, I still definitely recommend. For the price tag, this is absolutely a great drugstore option for a brow pencil. Not worth it.
