These are not "Super Lift and Cut" blades like the HQ8 and SH50s, but they fit perfectly in my 12-year-old 5-series Norelco that was originally made for HQ8s. Despite being cheaper than the HQ8/SH50s, these provide a MUCH more comfortable shave without tugging like my old HQ8s. My shaving time and skin irritation are way down. First shaves perfect!
When I installed this new heads in my Norelco 1000 shaver the first time you can tell the difference--much sharper, smoother shave than the old 1 year old blades. After about a week they were cutting the same as my old blades. Best razor in a long time
