    Old vs New Formula

    I started taking Phillips Colon Health after my Gastroenterologist recommended this specific brand. He personally used product and found them to be effective especially after using an antibiotic. I started taking them once a day after being treated for C. Diff colitis. The "old" formula was great at reestablishing my healthy gut flora. This "new" formula has caused severe cramping and diarrhea since starting it. I took a holiday from using it thinking I had gotten food poisoning or virus. When I restarted it my cramping and diarrhea came back. Why, oh why, did you change a formula that worked so well?

    Changed the Formula!

    Please note that most of these reviews are years old. They have recently changed the formula. It is nothing like the old one. My Gastro doctor recommended Phillips probiotics for me to support my general gut health after months of intestinal distress. I took one bottle of the old formula and was very pleased with the results. I started on second bottle and experienced a gradual decline in effectiveness. That's when I noticed the words "New Formula" on the box. If you liked the original formula, don't try the new one. It's not the same product at all.

    "New Formula"

    I have taken Phillips Colon Health probiotics for many years with excellent results. My last purchase was your "New Formula," and, after just a few days, I experienced several side effects (stomach pain, nausea, gas, bloating, and a general state of feeling un-well) that lingered for nearly a week and a half after stopping your "New Formula." The many negative reviews on-line of your "New Formula" mirrored my experience and dissatisfaction, and I, along with other consumers, are trying to understand your logic in changing a product that has been so successful for so many consumers over the years. The ingredients are completely different...why "fix" something that isn't broken? So disappointed. You've lost a customer.

    Why did it change?

    I have taken Philips Colon Health for years and it was the only one that worked without giving me other problems. Since they changed it recently, I started getting acid reflux and increased gut pain. It is going back to the store.

    New formula SUCKS

    I've been using this product for a long time to help with my "issues". It's been great. Kept me regular. Now you guys have updated the formula or whatever you did and it does not work anymore! At all. No control anymore. I have to constantly use the bathroom MANY times a day. Please go back to the old formula or tell me where I can buy more bottles of the old one.

    Works well for Gut

    I've actually been talking Phillips products for years. I use to take the milk of mag a day or 2 a week to keep me regular but for the past 8 years I've been a daily probiotic taker. I switched up for a short time to a different probiotic but had to come back to Phillips. It's gentle yet effective. I'll most likely take it forever.
