Smooth Good Flavor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been users of Pompeian robust extra virgin olive oil for a couple years now. We've generally been happy with it. So when we got this "bold" varietal I was curious about the difference. My wife set up a mini tasting for me. They looked the same olive green color and smelled identical. Tasting is where I noticed the difference. This bold varietal was smoother and had a mellow taste while I felt the "robust" had a weird aftertaste. If I hadn't tasted them together, I don't know that I would have noticed but together, the "bold" was my stand out winner.

Good quality.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used many different brands of olive oil. Many of them do not live up the the quality we have come to expect. This is probably the best we have tried. Thick, good color, great taste, and smells good when cooking. Great for dipping all by itself, and good on salads.

Great floral notes!

I've been serving it with our usual charcuterie to pair with fresh-baked bread and my family loves it! It definitely has more flavor that what I am used to. It's even bolder than what I have enjoyed at my favorite restaurants. As a foodie, I am always happy when I find something that takes my dining experiences to a whole new level.

Tasty and high quality olive oil from Pompeian
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used it to make a homemade salad dressing and it was perfect. Also used it to saute some veggies and it added a nice flavor. Would definitely get it again, just would prefer to have it in a glass bottle instead of in the plastic one.

Excellent for cooking and garnishing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a superior product. I cook every day and use EVOO in nearly all my recipes. It has a smooth, noticeable flavor that is distinct and adds a gourmet touch to my recipes. I use it at the table too for a dipping plate with cheeses. It goes great with salads and you will definitely notice the difference. This is a new must-have for my oils and vinegars shelf.

Great olive oil!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great tasting olive oil. Robust. Floral. Peppery. It's perfect for everyday use anywhere you use olive oil. Actually it's too flavorful for baking (which is a good thing for olive oil!). The pour spout is the perfect touch on the bottle!

Brings Out Flavors
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the Pompeian extra virgin Olive Oil very good at bringing out the flavors in salads, herbs and dressings. It was excellent for dipping crusty sourdough bread. I tried it with a few drops of balsamic vinegar and a bit of sautéed garlic. I sautéed the garlic in this extra virgin olive oil. It was very fragrant and tasted great. I made an awesome antipasto salad with tortellini. Drizzling the tortellini with a little Pompeian olive oil kept it from sticking together and brought all the flavors of the other ingredients together. It was very tasty hot or cold. This would be great oil to use in making fresh homemade dressings because it makes the flavor of herbs pop. I made roasted garlic with this oil and it turned out great. It takes just a small amount to bring out all the great flavors of your pastas, dressings salads, herbs, etc. I would recommend this olive oil because it enhances flavor in so many dishes.
