They are soft and great for every day use and help me to apply my makeup with ease. The brushes are soft and plush with lightweight, comfortable handles. They last for a while before needing to be replaced too. I use the RT 256 Ultra Buff brush to apply my foundation. The RT 402 Setting brush to apply my powder. The RT 257 Small Conceal brush under my eyes to blend in concealer. Great beginner brushes!

These are good to use for your base products like foundation and concealer. This is a great starter kit for beginners. A terrific value brush set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall Real Techniques is a good product line for a great price. I have purchased many brushes from them, over the years. This particular set is pretty good, since 3 out 4 were usable in my daily makeup routine. It has the good rounded blending blush good for applying eye shadow and liquid foundations. Also loved the wider brush, for applying blush and highlighting powder on the cheeks. Another Great Set from Real Techniques
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great set for laying down a base. Brushes are dense but soft and offer good control without leaving streaks. I used with a balm foundation, cream contour and cream concealer. The set also includes the 402 setting brush which is a classic Real Techniques brush that everyone should own. Nice and small for targeted application of setting powder or highlight. These brushes are workhorses that do the job very well without being overpriced. No need to worry about being too precious about them. Great Set of Face Brushes

Amazing brush set!!! I'd buy another set!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite brush in this set is the RT256, I love a good flat top brush because it really aids in packing(stippling) your product giving fuller coverage vs just blending it in like the RT200 brush which is was I use for an everyday look. The RT258 contour brush is amazing because its a little thicker in the brush head than most contour brushes which leave a stark line because they're thinner.
