I used them both dry and wet to see which application process was best. Using the sponges dry used more foundation than when it was wet, but when wet it took longer to press the foundation in. The two sponges have completely different textures. The blue is very malleable and squishy while the pink is firm and is very dry to the touch. I personally appreciate the round bottom on most regular sponges. Excellent Duo
This is an excellent dual. The powder sponge and the air blend sponge makes applying makeup easy and flawless. The 3-point application is unique. The flat side is for applying, the tip to conceal and the other point is to blend. The blue one is very squishy like memory foam and I like using it to apply my foundation and concealer. The pink one I use for powder and I really like how smoothly it applies it. The pink sponge is definitely my favorite of the two! Good sponges

Great sponge duo!

I'm really impressed with the miracle mattifying duo from Real Techniques. The two sponges together help me not only blend and mattify the foundation for a natural look, but then seamlessly blend and set for a soft-focus finish that lasts! The foam is nice for hugging the surface of my skin for smooth and even coverage, and I appreciate that I can use this for a month and only need to clean it once per week.
