    Glass nail file for gentle shaping

    I've been buying these glass nail files at CVS for several years. They are more gentle than an emery board for filing and shaping. They are a good value with coupons & extra bucks.

    Not Etched, Just Coated

    It gently file my nails but I had it for less than a week and it’s already losing it’s effectiveness. This is because it’s coated and the coating is already wearing out. If I knew it wasn’t an etched glass file, I wouldn’t have bought it.

    First one had a broken handle

    First unit had a broken handle which wasn't noticed in the packaging. Second one is fine, interesting but somewhat delicate concept. A concern for CVS: I went to exchange it, clerk said I could only return it and buy a new one. Problem was I used rewards dollars to buy it and those did not go towards the return/re-purchase so I was out my monthly reward for buying a defective product and returning it. An exchange was needed and your policy did not allow that, apparently, or the clerk was wrong.

    Does a wonderful job at filing nails. Very expensive though but should last for a long time.
