I love how it applies thin but is full of color and I sometimes I put two layer for more stronger color. You don't even need a lip liner for this one; but if you apply without lip liner it takes some time to get used to doing it that way and you have to be very careful to put it on evenly. I prefer without lip liner because it lasts longer, especially the edges. If I do put on a lip liner, I do only one soft layer of lip liner and then put this over it. I do that sometimes because it helps me put it on more evenly. I noticed that if I put too much lip liner on first then put the on over it, the edges, where I put this on over the lip liner get worn off as I eat or drink or whatever, and then it doesn't look good, and looks uneven. And it's also not good to put lip liner over it because it rubs it off as you apply the lip liner and then it won't look good later as the lip liner wears off. If you only apply this (or a very light lip line just once), you get the best coverage and lasts beautifully and very evenly.0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on influenster.com

Dries quick and feels slightly tight on the lip, doesn't last terribly long, great color pay off, scent is okay. Bold and gorgeous color
I received Colostay Limitless Matte Liquid Lipstick in exchange for my honest review. The liquid lipstick was packaged like an expensive lipgloss, in my opinion. I immediately noticed the gorgeous red color! It reminded me of that perfect red lipstick color we used to see the starlets wearing in the 1950s. The application went on very easily and smoothly. It felt very hydrating to my lips, even when it dried to become matte. I did not feel like this was the type of lipstick that needed to be buildable in order to reach and have the gorgeous red lip color. When they said this was colorstay, they meant it! This lipcolor lasted hours after consuming food and drink! Plus, when I was ready to take it off, even after using makeup remover and washing my face, my lips were still slightly stained like I had consumed a pink popsicle. I also think that this shade of red compliments complexions ranging from fair to deep, which is 1 of the many reasons I recommend it. It didn't really have a taste or smell to me, but I haven't been able to smell things as well as I used to in over 3 years after I had COVID. The only reason I'm even given it 4 out of 5 stars is because I'm not a personal fan of lipglass, which this kind of reminded me of in a way when first applying because of that stickiness it has until it dries to matte. It's not my favorite, matte finish made my lips dry..
I felt like it made my lips a bit dry. It did last throughout the day. Beautiful color and light scent. Long lasting beautiful red
