[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an Esthetician I'm always searching for wonderful skincare products to try. I really love organic and all natural products. This shampoo has a wonderful peachy smell. It lasted for days. I was able to not wash my hair for a few days and not need my dry shampoo. I'd definitely recommend this shampoo if you're wanting to remove all product buildup without stripping the color out your hair or damaging the hair follicle. I had immediate results. Having body already in my hair this also have my curls a boost.I didn't use a smoothing cream on my hair daily like I normally do. I have frizzy hair due to bleaching. This shampoo helped me achieve beautiful and shiny hair without drying my hair out from the detoxing. Quench and Curl Shampoo
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this shampoo for my boyfriend who has a type 4C really tight coily hair. This shampoo cleanses from roots to tip, while removing product build up without stripping the hair and drying it out. It also revives and moisturizes the curls, while repairing curl pattern and smoothing the hair. I love that this product helps to maintain hair strength and that it's also hydrating for the coils. We loved the way this shampoo smells, and all the ingredients are plant based. This product is also 100% recycled packaging, as well as 97% naturally derived. It is also cruelty free and part of the 1% for the planet. It is dermatologist tested and safe for sensitive scalps, and this product is free from parabens, sulfates, colorants, mineral oils and silicones. Haircare is important to me, and I have personally noticed that when I started taking better care of my hair it got healthier, longer and less fairy knots and frizz. Maintaining healthy hair is a process for many so creating a regimen that you do daily, weekly, or monthly is going to be key for your healthy hair success. Moisture starts at the sink bowl! A key to maintaining healthy hair for me is using quality products, doing deep treatments, and receiving professional trims.The Rhyme & Reason Quench & Curl Shampoo is a sulfate-free shampoo and infused with shea butter, desert peach and ceramides. This collection is for curly, coily, and textured hair. The packaging thoroughly lists the ingredients and all plant derived products used. The shampoo is clear with a light peach scent and medium consistency. The shampoo has a 12month shelf life which is good since you only need a little to go a long way.In the shower I saturated my hair with water and used two quarter amounts of the shampoo on my hair. I have Type 3 curls, fine strands with a medium density. I shampooed my hair twice and followed with the matching conditioner. The product lathered well and left my hair clean without feeling stripped. The peach scent did linger on my hair which I enjoyed.In my professional opinion with over 10yrs of textured hair care experience this product would be good for someone with textured hair. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rhyme & Reason Quench & Curl Shampoo I love this shampoo it helps to bring out the curls in my natural wavy hair you get a nice bounce after it naturally dries. I also like that it removes all the dirt grime and product that is left in your hair after your done for the day. Love the natural scent of Peaches and cloves that it gives that last well through a couple of days if you do not shampoo for a couple of days. It also contains natural Shea nut butter, Olive oil and coconut oil to hydrate your hair naturally. Great ingredients and you get amazing results with tone and texture as well that last for a few days so no need to shampoo every day. I am not a hair specialist but have been in the beauty industry for 20+ years I also hold an Esthetics license and have tried lots of hair product and this one seems to be different and unique in the Echo Friendly arena and worth trying. I have tried a lot of products as well. This is one brand that I have never tried, but I am excited to review it. I am always in the market for good products for curly hair. They are hard to find because every curly girl's hair texture and style is different. I have Type 3b hair, which means I have spiral curls and ringlets. My hair is very thick and gets super dry in the winter. When I found out you can get these at Target as well, it is definitely a bonus.My first impression of the Rhyme and Reason shampoo and conditioner was the packaging. I think the packaging is so simple and cute. I love how the ingredients on the back are broken down by what they do. Another thing I took notice of is that they make it known that their products are natural, vegan, and cruelty-free, and the packaging is 100% recyclable. I am all about a natural-driven brand because they give you what you need with nothing extra.Let's start with the shampoo. I loved the smell of the shampoo. It was not too much or overwhelming. The texture of the shampoo is smooth. What I liked most about it was that it was hydrating while cleaning the buildup in my hair. My scalp felt clean and washed. It is gentle enough to use as a daily shampoo. I have psoriasis on my scalp, and it does not cause a reaction for me. I recommend only using a little bit because a little goes a long way. Gentle Shampoo for Delicate Curls

Their quench and curl shampoo is at a great price point and features some amazing ingredients for the scalp. Shampoos are an important step, but it can be where a lot of people end up over drying and damaging their hair follicles. I felt this shampoo was mindful of the delicate nature of curly hair with the addition of ceramides and other moisture boosting ingredients. This is not a clarifying shampoo, but rather a gentle cleanser designed to shampoo your hair without harsh sulfates and stripping agents. The scent was very faint. The lather was very mild and I find this to be a perfect product for people with stressed and damaged curls. Doesn't clean well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a licensed cosmetologist, my passion is hair. I wanted to try rhyme and reason because it contained ceramide, which is beneficial for your scalp. Also, this line is particularly for curly/coily hair-3A to 4C. The ingredients are labeled on the back and they explain where each one is taken from. I find having the ingredients will help put someone at ease knowing that the ingredients are natural vs chemically known. Hair type I used to test this shampoo: 3B/3C combination curl pattern Pros: -Shampoo smells pretty good, it's not over powering. -It's clear liquid. -easy to apply and emulsify. -gentle enough to use almost everyday. Con: -doesn't clean the scalp well. Have to rinse and repeat 2 more times to make sure the scalp is clean. This shampoo I feel would be ideal to use as a first shampoo, to help loosen up any build up and debris. I wouldn't say the shampoo dried out the hair or irritated the scalp. It just doesn't clean well. Overall I wouldn't buy this due to the fact of not cleaning the scalp well.
