Giving only 3 stars because I just painted my nails in hyp-nautical. The bottle looked like an iridescent blue, but it turned out purple. The try on app (which i just found) made it look lavendar...not even close. Also took 3 coats to completely cover the nail bed as the first two coats went on very translucent. 900 | GET MOD Step 2 Colour Is Falsely Advertised.
900 | GET MOD Step 2 colour is falsely advertised. I purchased the 2 colour 900 | Get Mod box yesterday on impulse in a store. The only reason was because of the Step 2 top coat called 101 Shiny Brilliant. It is in an opaque bottle of shiny silver, which is what I thought the colour was going to be as other Step 2 topcoats also have colour. Nowhere does it say this is 100% clear/transparent! I expected a shiny silver colour, which is also kind of implied by the silver nails photo on this website. That shows the nail ends as silver. For funzies, I tried this combo on 1 nail, and was very disappointed in this top coat's lack of "shiny brilliance" so I can't see using it on any other colours. The box came with a Step 1 colour I will never use again, so this was an expensive lesson.Reply from Abby3 days agoHello! We appreciate you taking the time to try our Miracle Gel Top Coat. Should have bought sooner
I bought this polish for wedding - it has been years since I last got my nails done. I stopped going to the salon because as a weightlifting girlie, I'd chip a gel manicure within a week and it wasn't worth the cost. I tried other nail polishes at home and just gave up. I saw this at the store and figured why not? I only need it to last a day. Let me tell you - I'm on day 5 and not a single chip. I've been to the gym twice. I bought the matte top coat and that may play a role - the polish went on evenly and dried quickly and the top coat truly turned the polish a beautiful matte finish. I didn't have high hopes, but I'm a believer now! Misinformation but ok product
Maybe the packaging should inform the consumer that though it is called miracle gel it is a lacquer because I wondered why it wasn’t working until I googled how to use it.Reply from Abby4 weeks agoHello! Don't waste your money
I was excited at first thinking I was about to get gel quality nail polish that lasts... unfortunately this doesn't seem to last any longer than regular polishReply from Erin1 month agoHi there! For optimal results, the color (step 1) and top coat (step 2) work together as a system to create a durable manicure with high gloss shine. Formula ingredients are key. The advanced color and top coat formulas both contain an oligomer; the top coat also includes a photoinitiator. The photoinitiator activates a bond between the two, thus curing the formula in natural light without the need of an LED/UV lamp.
