[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the idea of a hair clip alternative to the claw clip that doesn't hurt your head if you lay down on it. I love the neutral colors of these clips in tortoise, clear and black. They are strangely shaped but I will agree they do look like bananas. They are made of plastic and feel kind of cheap. The clear one I received already had some teeth missing. It is awkward to use this hair clip to pull back your hair and sometimes harder to clip together. Good sized clips, remind me of the 80’s
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received 3 clips: one each of tortoise shell, black and frosted clear. They are reminiscent of "banana clips" of the 1980's. And yes, I was alive then. The clips open on each end, which is an upgrade (previous models only had a hinge on one end). The clips were secure, and required a bit of effort to unhook-but better that then the clip falling out of one's hair. Very 90’s

Not for fine textured hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately these didn't work well for my fine textured hair. My hair is very long, past my shoulders, and I have a lot of it, but these clips didn't have enough grip to hold it. Maybe if it was a few days old or had some texturizing product in it, it might hold a little better. Stay in very well.

Not for my hair
