[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are faithful Vicks users here. My family has been using VICKS products since I was a baby. This cough and congestion liquid didn't not disappoint. The flavor of the liquid was not super overpowering. It didn't taste like that strong alcohol like some medicines do. It went down very smooth. No after taste. I would not drink any water after taking it though. I recommend letting it sit a little in your throat to help coat it. After about 10 minutes I can start to feel some relief. Especially with everything going on in the world its nice to have a product in your medicine cabinet that you know works. I'm very impressed with this cough and congestion liquid. Love that it's Vicks since it has that minty refreshing. Works as advertised it does help with pesky cough and congestion. Great taste

At first I was afraid to try it because other cough medicines I've tried in the past often leave a bad after taste. I'm happy to report this one does not. I like that the syrup is thicker which helps to soothe and coat your throat better. I also love that the product works quickly to relieve your symptoms. New cold medicine

Works fast at stopping cough!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Vicks cough syrup worked very quickly on my child. The taste was very strong, but did taste like cherry and made it easier to swallow. I like the generous 8 oz. size. The name on the label, "Jarabe," apparently means syrup, which I did not know before, but description was just below the name so this was helpful. The actual mg amount for each of the ingredients (cough suppressant and expectorant) would also have been helpful on the front of the label, instead of reading the tiny print on the inside after it is purchased.
