My husband and I love getting a deluxe nuts at the store so we decided to try well market and these were great. I love the variety of nuts in this package and I'm happy with the unsalted. Okay, these nuts are kind of a staple in our house now. It's a really solid mix-cashews, almonds, pistachios, and pecans-and they actually taste fresh, like you can smell the nuttiness as soon as you pop the lid. No weird old-oil smell, which I've run into with other brands. I love that they're unsalted-it gives you the real flavor of the nuts without all the extra sodium. The texture is on point too-crunchy but not too hard. The pecans are soft and buttery, the almonds have that nice snap, and the cashews are super smooth. Honestly, it just feels like you're getting good quality. I toss some into my husband's lunch, keep a container in the car, and grab a handful for walks or when I need a quick snack between chasing kids and everything else. The screw-on lid is clutch too-makes it easy to keep them fresh and toss in a bag without worrying about spills. And I know "effectiveness" sounds weird for a snack, but these actually do the job-like when I'm hungry and don't want to grab junk, a handful of these keeps me going without feeling heavy or blah. Good amount in the container too, so it lasts a while. Bottom line: tasty, no mess, great to-go snack, and they actually smell and taste fresh. I'll definitely keep these stocked! Not fresh tasting
We have "always" kept GE Deluxe mixed nuts unsalted in my house. Since it's changed to well market, the taste is definitely off. Almost like they are going rancid.0 users found this review helpful.
