[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Zuke's Trail Mix dog treats in the peanut butter & oats (with accents of cherries) recipe are the perfect size and have the perfect texture to use as training treats. They are a soft, chewy treat so they are easy to chew but also to break into smaller pieces if needed. My dog loves pretty much all treats but she is so excited to get them that sometimes she isn't as gentle as she should be. I've been using these to teach her 'gentle bite' & 'small taste' and become she loves the flavor so much she is actually listening & learning in order to get them. She gets something she thinks is tasty and I get a healthier treat to teach her with, it's a win-win. My dog is medium sized but I think the treats would be fine even for small dogs. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dogs can be a bit picky when it comes to treats so im always looking for new additions to add to our rotation and this will definitely be joining our treat shelf. I appreciate that there are multiple shapes and sizes of treats in this bag to keep it visually interesting. I do notice my dogs prefer some of the shapes over others. one dog wont touch the dark squares but dont worry the other pup is happy to take those ones off her hands. its also extremely nice that these treats are pretty allergy-friendly. We have been trying to figure out some allergies and these seem to be a safe treat so thats fantastic as well. Dog loved flavor but lacked variety
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The peanut butter and oats combination is clearly a winner in my dog's book. He gobbled them up without hesitation. As for me, the different shapes and colors make these treats genuinely fun to look at, and while the treats do come in different shapes and colors, the actual variety felt more limited than I anticipated. The bag seemed to have more of some pieces than others which was slightly disappointing. Overall these treats are well-made, use quality ingredients, and the peanut butter and oats combination was clearly well received by my dog.
