I have used the previous version of this product without issue for 10 years plus. I love the Almay line was hypoallergenic, BUT when I switched to the new package, I thought it'd be the same product, however I immediately broke out in redness and swelling. I used the remainder of my old rectangular version and... I was fine. Retried the new version... redness and swelling. Not for me

best coverage

Reasonable and easy to apply and blend. Great coverage. Best for everyday use. Works great

It gives me the coverage I need for the mom bags under my eyes without looking like I caked on layer after layer to do it. Not for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I already mentioned in my Almay foundation review, I don't have an acne problem. Sure, from time to time I have something to hide on my skin, but mostly I use concealers on my under-eye area. This concealer YOU CAN NOT USE UNDER EYES. Coz it's drying. Coverage Is not too bad, can hide small imperfections. Can't say anything about bigger problems, as I didn't have read experience. It lasts, doesn't oxidize. And it's all I can say. Not for my skin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy ALMAY as a brand, but this concealer was not meant for my skin's needs. I have sensitive combination skin and now, in the dry season here in Miami it has a big drying tendency. I mostly use concealer underneath my eyes to cover my dark circles and usually I will conceal here and there, but this Almay concealer did not do the trick. It find the formula thick and not that easy to blend on my skin. The salicylic acid dried my skin and I stopped using it because I did not want to disrupt the good work I have put into getting my skin back on track over the years. WHY OH WHY DID ALMAY CHANGE THIS????
I have been using the Almay Clear Complexion Concealer for over 25 YEARS-I loved it and depended on it for almost daily use, to cover acne, blemishes and general redness I get on my face (& occasional hives). The packaging changed, that's no biggie, as that has happened several times over the years. The PROBLEMS ARE: 1) the shades have changed, but kept the same names: my go-to color for over 2 decades no longer matches my skin, so thanks for THAT waste of money. 2) the consistency changed: it just doesn't cover like it used to-it's more watery, but harder to blend, and much more noticeable when worn. 3) the applicator changed: much more product comes out in the new "doe-foot" applicator end-this is CONCEALER-to be used in small amounts and precisely applied, not glopped-on. Now, there is so much waste and I end up with a whole bunch on my fingers as I attempt to "blend it" in, but it won't stay where I need it to on my face! I am so unhappy with this new formulation and packaging. It is beyond frustrating when cosmetic companies change (in most cases, ruin) or discontinue great, legacy products. One very simple idea: create whatever "new" products you want, but keep your traditional product in production for your loyal, legacy customers. It is obvious that this is a very popular item, well, it WAS a popular item. There are many, many customers writing reviews on many sites with complaints similar to mine. It's one thing to try and be more inclusive by expanding the shades of products so they are usable for more people-I applaud that. However, it does not require such radical product changes (cheaper for you to produce, perhaps??), just to expand the shade range/colors of a product, and with no warning on the packaging to the consumer; meaning-not just "new" logo, but alerting customers that the shades have changed while keeping the same names. To Almay: when a company does this, and I have to go through the ordeal and expense of trying to find a different product from a different company that fits my needs, I stop buying the entire line of that company's products. Experience has shown that it is not usually long before other products get "revamped", and changed, for the worse. After 30+ years of being a loyal Almay customer-I'm moving on. I have been using this product for over 10 years and it was my go-to. Not sure why but it looks like everything has changed with the product-container was rectangular, now it's a tube. The applicator used to be doe-foot sponge, easy to use…now it's diamond shaped and difficult to get out of the tube. The formulation feels sticky, less spreadable, and doesn't blend well. Color comes out lighter than what's on the label. Idk why but I am super disappointed. You've lost a longtime customer.
